Smile Week – Annual Fundraiser
Dear Clients,
As part of our role in community services, I have been a Director of the Humour Foundation/Clown Doctors since 1996. I urge all of our clients to support this great organisation’s work in the Children’s Wards of all major Children’s Hospitals throughout Australia.
Sick kids need a special kind of treatment to help recover from illness – the kind provided by the amazing Clown Doctors. It’s never been more important to help kids smile.
Smile week, our annual fundraising appeal with the CBA started Monday, although it is called smile week it actually runs for the month of June. CBA are matching donations up to $100,000. Your generosity will mean Clown Doctors can work in partnership with medical professionals to divert children during painful procedures, calm and distract in emergency, encourage and assist during occupational therapy and physiotherapy and improve the quality of life of some of the most vulnerable members of our community; sick and injured kids.
